About the role

An exciting combined and dynamic opportunity has arisen here in the Smirthwaite team and we are now seeking a South Sales Manager Technical Product Advisor who will be responsible for both the Southern sales team performance along with their own specific territory success. Responsible for achieving southern territory KPI sales objectives through field-based selling activities, which include dealing directly with Occupational and Physio therapists, providing prompt face to face assessments and quotations. Supporting customers by selling and servicing PMUK & Smirthwaite product lines. Actively promote and develop you post code areas and support the South Sales team.

Essential duties

• To successfully manage the Southern sales team to achieve budget and company strategic objectives.
• To develop & promote the company within the following postcodes: ME, WL, E, SE, BR, TN, CT, ME, DA, RM, IG, SS, CM, CO, CB, IP.
• To be the focal point of the company in the territory.
• Successfully manage and grow client/customer relationships and achieve KPI goals
• Provide account management for the territory.
• Ability to manage various core administration tasks.
• Managing weekly reports and participate in management meetings.
• Manage staff holidays, sickness and conduct regular one-to-one reviews and appraisals.
• To actively support and help promote new products.
• Develop & maintain prospect and customer list based on strategic marketing data & other sources for sales leads.
• Conduct clinically focused product assessments with children & therapists providing best advice on product suitability.
• To work in conjunction with the Commercial Manager supplying potential leads.
• Actively increase presentation/training days with therapists.
• To support marketing activity through attending exhibitions and promoting awareness.
• Proactively gather market information and report via the agreed process.
• To be able to offer weekly work flexibility to support therapist(s) and company requirements.
• Overnight hotel stays will be required on occasions for sales meetings and exhibitions.
